About Marcia I am happily married and have two adult children. We live in Southwestern Wisconsin on top of a hill and can see for miles and miles. My quilting business is in the lower level of our home over looking a bird garden and memory pond. A wonderful working environment! I have a degree in Family and Consumer Education from University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. Before starting my quilting business in April of 2003. I taught sewing and cooking at the Middle School level. During the summer I taught a beginning sewing class for 3rd and 4th graders. I love to teach beginning sewing and quilting! Quilting and sewing are truly my passion! See the Sewing Classes page for the info on my Mini Sewing Classes. I belong to a “Sewing Group” that meets once a month to sew together. If you live in Southwestern Wisconsin and would like to join us e-mail me for the details. We teach each other and sew on our unfinished projects (UFOs). We potluck the food and exchange quick and easy recipes! I also belong to the Friendship Quilter's Guild of Richland Center, Wisconsin. We share our quilting treasures and quilting ideas. So many ideas – not enough time in the day to do it all! I turned 50 in November and had most of my family all together for Thanksgiving! I am all in blue on the bottom right; with my husband next to me in the cap and my Mom is next to him in the center, all in blue too!
We took a "new family picture" the day after the big 50th Birthday party. It was a triple Golden Birthday, as Jewels turned 26th on the 26th and BJ turned 24 and the 24th! Both were born on Thanksgiving Day just two years apart! Jewels and her boyfriend, Radboud are going to Graduate School in Amsterdam, Netherlands. BJ is currently working in the Twin Cities. In Jan. 2008 he will be going back to College at UW Stout to complete his Computer Networking Degree. My Mom lives in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.
